What should I know to prepare for my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing and clothing that can easily adjust around any difficult to reach area.
You are allowed to bring a guest, please limit to one guest and no minors.
Eat a good meal before long sessions.
Please consult your artist before applying any numbing creams.
Tell your artist if you take medication that could affect your tattoo, such as ibuprofen.
do not shave body hair with a razor before the appointment. This can cause razor burn and may cause your appointment to get rescheduled if the area is too irritated. You can shave thick hair with clippers.
Please shower and wash with antibacterial soap.
Bring a change of clothes for pictures, avoid logos, words on t-shirts, and bright patterns. neutral colors are best.

How can I book an Appointment?

Preference will be given to requests that are in line with the artist's style and original custom designs.
You will need to complete a request form before receiving a price estimate. We may not respond to messages just seeking price quotes.
If we can take on your project, an artist will contact you within 2 weeks of receiving your request.

Do you tattoo minors?

We do not tattoo minors. Must be 18+. Regardless of parental consent.

How far out are you booking?

Our artists do not have open and closed booking windows. We accept booking requests on a rolling basis. We choose projects based on artist interest and availability. Our artists try not to book more than 3 months in advance. Typical wait times for each artist vary but it is normally between 4 - 8 weeks.
Please do not message us asking for a "quick tattoo," we're not a walk-in shop.

How do I book with a Guest Artist?

Follow the booking instructions on that artist's instagram. If you have any questions about a specific guest artist, please message us.

What are your shop hours and location?

The shop is typically open:
Tuesday - Saturday
10am - 6pm

*Holidays and schedule changes may affect these hours, please message to schedule a time to stop by to make sure someone is there

We are located at 315 E Aurora, in downtown Ironwood, Michigan

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept credit cards, PayPal, and Venmo. There is a 3% processing fee on credit cards.
Cash preferred.

Do you require a deposit?

We require a deposit to secure appointments. Your artist will inform you of the deposit amount at the time of booking. Read more about deposits here.

Do you do piercings?

No piercing services.
We do not sell jewelry.
